LULU’s PLACE: A Campus Built for the Future
Within walking distance of more than a dozen K- 12 schools, and adjacent to St. Bernard High School, Lulu’s Place is designed to be a true neighborhood anchor; offering academic enrichment, athletics, wellness and more at little or no cost to the students and families who need it most. The campus is set to open in Spring 2027.
The TGR Learning Lab Los Angeles will be located on the new Lulu’s Place campus; 31-acre state-of-the-art athletic and educational complex situated along Westchester Parkway, just north of LAX. Named in honor of Carol “Lulu” Kimmelman who was a lifelong educator and tennis champion serving Los Angeles students, Lulu’s Place was built with one mission: to enrich the lives of young people from under-resourced communities across Los Angeles.
HEALTH & WELLNESS
In partnership with Providence, the TGR Learning Lab Los Angeles will provide access for students and families to receive wellness resources and care in a safe environment through Empowered Health for free:
- Free screenings, resources and access to Providence caregivers
- Opportunities for students and families to learn about healthcare careers
- Multi-lingual workshops and health educational opportunities
