Our STEAM educational programs are the heart of the TGR Learning Lab experience. Through inquiry-based, project-driven learning, students in 5th – 12th grade engage with science, technology, engineering, arts and math in ways that are relevant, exciting, and connected to real careers.
Offerings at the TGR Learning Lab Los Angeles will include:
- 30+ STEAM courses, workshops, and clubs for middle and high school students
- STEAM-powered learning experiences for students and their teachers
- Summer programming and community events
- Academic support in core subjects
WHY STEAM
STEAM education is an important learning approach focused on science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics which helps students develop a variety of key skills needed for high demand careers of tomorrow. Studies have shown that students having access to STEAM educational enrichment at an early age can broaden perspectives and create motivated learners.

By participating in our STEAM-powered programs offered year-round at the Lab, students become aware of and cultivate their unique potential and discover what they can achieve if they remain invested in their education. Our course subjects are strategically aligned with the latest high-demand STEAM careers, ensuring students gain the knowledge and skills needed to prepare them the workforce.
Enriching Futures
Educational enrichment happens differently at TGR Learning Labs. Youth explore, engage and experience instead of listening, observing and taking tests. A wide range of STEAM-based programs are offered, promoting self-discovery and the spark of new passions. Hands-on projects inspire excitement for learning; and integrated connections to careers lay the foundation for future professional opportunities.
Enhancing Education
To serve more students, we work with schools and local educators to enhance the delivery of meaningful STEAM programming in the classroom. Through a variety of educator professional development programs, we provide workshops and resources that help educators engage their students in STEAM education, preparing more students to thrive in school and beyond.
